Batac is limited on the north by San Nicolas and Sarrat; on the east by the Laoag River and the Cordillera; on the south by Badoc; and on the west by Paoay. There are a few little lakes inside the domain and the dirt is extremely rich, The town has an area range of 161,06 square kilometers, with a populace of 45,534 in 1995. The Batac City Public Market touted as one of the greatest in the area offers a wide cluster of merchandise - crisply picked nearby vegetables and organic products, painstaking work, tincrafts, ceramics, local delights, chicharon, longganisa, wet business sector treats and numerous others. The Delicia Center, found nearby the City Public Market, contains RTW shops, banks, machine stores, ranch supplies, drug stores, perishables, a lottery outlet and some more. The Delicia Center and the City Public Market frame part of the business region of Batac City.
